Fulbright Day: Chile – November 23

In commemoration of the 75th anniversary of the Fulbright program, the Commission in Chile presents a conversation with the National Economic Prosecutor, Mr. Ricardo Riesco Eyzaguirre (Fulbright 2004). The event, which is in Spanish, will be livestreamed on Fulbright Chile’s YouTube and/or Facebook.

Mr. Ricardo Riesco Eyzaguirre is a lawyer from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile (1994-1998), where he graduated with highest distinction. He is a Fulbright Scholar and holds a Master in Laws from Columbia University (2004-2005), United States, where he was also a visiting professor between 2017 and 2018.

Mr. Riesco has specialized in antitrust, litigation and arbitration, holding positions in law firms in Chile and the U.S. In addition, he has served as Professor of Procedural Law at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile (PUC) between 2008 and 2017.

He was director of the Department of Procedural Law at PUC from 2015 to 2017. He has written and collaborated in the drafting of legal articles in Chile, Spain, the United States and Ecuador. As an expert, he has also lectured in Chile, Spain, Peru and Brazil.
